WATCH OUR TEDX TALK ENTITLED, "EMBRACE YOUR DIFFERENCES"
Sometimes, food allergies can make a normal life difficult. We may have to do things that teenagers our age don't have to do; such as spreading awareness of our food allergies to restaurants, friends, or family. Though having food allergies can be a struggle, it can also be our strength.
Our allergies grant us empowerment.
They allow us to be a part of something that not a lot of people are in: a loving, supportive community filled with people who know what you are going through. Be proud of your differences, they are what make you special!

"BULLIES ARE TYPICALLY INDIVIDUALS THAT PROJECT THEIR OWN INSECURITIES OUTWARDS ONTO OTHERS USING INTIMIDATION AND EVEN VIOLENCE. TEEN FAAB IS A GREAT RESOURCE FOR FOOD ALLERGY EDUCATION AND IS BECOMING A GREAT OUTLET FOR SUPPORT. HAVING A FOOD ALLERGY IS NOT SOMETHING PEOPLE SHOULD EVER FEEL INSECURE ABOUT AND I THINK TEEN FAAB IS A GREAT OUTLET FOR PEOPLE WITH OR WITHOUT FOOD ALLERGIES. I LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING TEEN FAAB GROW!
